Shared Belief Works At Golden Gate Fields

Unbeaten US star Shared Belief continues to work impressively in preparation for the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic at Santa Anita next month.

Shared Belief worked five furlongs in 60.6 on Tuesday at Golden Gate Fields, where he has done all of his training this year.

"It was a very good work," said Sherrie Wolfe, head clocker at Golden Gate Fields.

"He broke about six lengths behind two work mates, collared them in the stretch and was pulling away at the end."

Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer said Shared Belief, who is unbeaten in seven career starts, will have two more workouts before the BC Classic on November 1.

"His next scheduled gallop is for October 21 at Golden Gate.

"He'll either go three-quarters or seven-eighths, most likely three-quarters," said Hollendorfer.
