Breeders Cup Classic winner Bayern is the headline act among 20 nominations for the Grade 1 Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs on November 28.

Bayern, who clung on to the Breeders Cup Classic both on the race track and in the stewards room, is an unlikely runner in the 140th running of the Clark Handicap but stablemate Hoppertunity is expected to be among those declared along with Florida Derby winner Constitution.

Tapiture, who ran second to Goldencents, is also among the nominations and should he take his chance in the Grade 1 closer to Churchill's fall meeting he would have to see seen as a leading contender off that form.
