American Pharoah has concluded his race career with an emphatic 6.5 length win in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

The entire was sent to the front by jockey Victor Espinoza and from there the pair never looked back as a 6.5 length success ensued.

In the process, American Pharoah posted a time of 2:00.07, eclipsing the previous track record over ten furlongs at Keeneland by more than five seconds.

His final raceday outing prior to stud duties, American Pharoah exits racing with nine wins and a minor placing from 11 career outings.

The Pioneerof The Nile entire is the only horse to have clamed the 3YO Triple Crown (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes) and then go on to claim the Breeders’ Cup Classic four months later.

He will commence stud duties in February at Coolmore’s Versailles property, Ashford Stud.

Coolmore have expressed interest in shuttling American Pharoah to Australia for the 2016 breeding season.
