Haydock has copped a lot of rain and the track is soft.

If there is any more rain it could easily become heavy and that may prompt some scratchings however at present this is the look at the Temple Stakes G2 and the Sandy Lane G2.

The firs of these is over 1000m and has a field of 10.  There are four runners on 4/1 – Asfoora, Live In The Dream, and Vadream with the latter probably the best of the three. We also like Equality with Saffie Osborne riding for Charlie Hills and they are on 11/1.

The Sandy Lane is over 1200m for 3yo with 8 starters headed by the unbeaten Vandeek.  James Doyle has the ride for the Crisfords on the Havana Grey colt.  He won the Middle Park G1 so ticks a lot of boxes if you like 2/3 on a wet track.  Inisherin is 9/2, the Shamardal colt being trained by Kevin Ryan with Tom Eaves riding.  And we may have a bit of the each-way on Purosangue on 10/1.  He's by Aclaim and with Andrew Balding  with Oisin Murphy riding.
