Upsets at Longchamp

And the biggest of them was in the Prix Ganay, first European G1 of the season.

Haya Zark was overlooked prior to the race it seems by all except his mother but his win has made everyone sit up and take notice.  Coming from the West of France he started on 16/1.  His trainer Adrien Fouassier made the smart move of booking top jockey Alexis Pouchin for the ride and the rest is history.  He won by a head from Zarir 13/2 and Feed The Flame 10/1 with the G/Y track not to the liking of some of the more favoured horses.

Earlier the Prix Barbeville went to Sevenna's Knight 5/1 Fabre-Barzalona by 8 lengths from Shembala 4/1 and Double Major.

The Allez-France for the girls saw American Sonja overcome her 'second-it is" to win from Pensee du Jour and Sea The Lady.
