It was the Pantall runner Alpen Rose in the Godolphin colours that won the G3.

The Grosser Preis der Landeshaupstadte Dresden is off the France with Pantall's runner given a great ride by Julien Guillochen stealing the race.  Favourite Rubaiyat was second and our third pick Best Lightning third home.

Sunday sees the running of the 59th Preis von Europa G1 and Sir Mark Prescott is mounting a raid here with Alpinista,  who was his weapon of choice when raiding the Preis von Berlin.  His squire Luke Morris will again be in charge of the charging.  They are on 6/4 in the UK.  Sisfahan looks the best of the locals on 2/1 and Northern Ruler is on 6/1.
