With Christophe Lemaire on board Schnell Meister won the Mainichi Okan.

The race was a G2 run at Tokyo on Sunday over 1800m and the result mirrored the favourite horses as the top 3 in the market ran the first three, with Danon Kingly and Potagen in the minors.  Vin de Garde was unable to help refill our cellar.

At Hanshin the Kyoto Daishoten saw Makahiki on 32.1 grab the result on the line by a nose from favourite Aristoteles and Kiseki produced a nice run for third.
