On Saturday he saddled Angel Bleu to win the Criterium International at Saint Cloud and on Sunday Scope to win the Prix Royal Oak at Longchamp.

Both tracks were rated very soft and on Saturday Angel Bleu only just held off Ancient Rome in the Criterium International with Purplepay getting the third spot.  Gloanthaune was a non-runner.

Another good raid was executed by James Ferguson with El Bodegon winning the Criterium de Saint Cloud from Stone Age and favourite Goldspur only third.

Magny Cours for the home team just finished ahead of Century Dream with roughie Brentford Hope 12/1 third in the Prix Perth.

The Belle de Nuit was another good win for Nicholas Clement's Control Tower with Joie de Soir second and another roughie Lubiane on 33/1 third.

The Prix de Flore saw Sweet Lady give jockey Ioritz Mendizabal a double with Jupyra second and Anasia third.

Sunday's Prix Royal Oak was over the 3100m and Scope was an 8/1 victor with  Skazino second and Glycon 9/1 third,  and that's the last G1 in France for the season.
