Sodashi dashed to soon

There was a beautiful sight for the first three quarters of the Champions Cup at Chukyo.

That was with the beautiful white filly Sodashi in the lead in the Champion's Cup at Chukyo on Sunday but alas it was not sustainable and after rounding the bend and heading for home Sodashi started heading in the wrong direction.

This left the way clear for favourite T O Keynes to charge through to the lead and finish ahead of last year's winner Chuwa Wizard.  Third went to Another Truth and our "roughie" Inti was in a close finish here but had to settle for fourth home.

Saturday's Stayers at Nakayama over the 3600m saw Divine Force win from Iron Barrows and Silver Sonic.

Meantime the Japanese challengers have all arrived safely in Hong Kong for the big International meeting this weekend.  We shall look at their chances later.
