His win yesterday means that he has already earned AU$8,692,042 in prize money which is not quite as much as Orfevre won but is nevertheless pretty impressive.

Second home Deep Bond was a bit of a surprise as he had been further away in the market starting on 18.7 and the wonderful Chrono Genesis was not disgraced in coming third.  They were followed home by Stella Veloce, Titleholder and our roughie Aristoteles who ran an OK race for 6th money.

On Friday champion jumper Oju Chosan put in an imperious display of jumping and sheer power in winning the Nakayama Daishogai for the third time, to add to his 5 wins in the Nakayama Grand Jump.  This time he finished 3 lengths ahead of Blason d'Ameen with Leo Beyond another 5 lengths away.
