The Nikkei Shinshun Hai G2 is the top race on the program.

It is over 22oom and has attracted a number of interesting runners.  Stella Veloce, who was 4th in the Arima Kinen, is favourite here around even money, with Mirco Demuro riding.  Fly Like A Bird was third in the Copa Repubblica Argentina in his recent start to his prep and will be ridden by Yutaka Take – they are on 5.0.  Yoho Lake is next in the morning line but he hasn't raced since May 21 so we prefer Clavel who was third in the QEII Cup at Hanshin and has won over this trip plus she gets the mare's allowance.
