Wonder horse Golden Sixty will try to tie Silent Witness's record of wins.

Should he win Race 7 today, the G1 Stewards' Cup over 1600m, it will be his 17th successive win.  It's impossible to back him but there are a few good quinella opportunities with the favourite way being with More Than This but we are going wider with last year's Derby winner Sky Darci.  There are only 7 runners.

Race 3 is the Centenary Sprint Cup over 1200m and has at least got 8 runners.  Master Eight is on an upwards trajectory and should be able to secure this.  The two main challengers are Courier Wonder and Sky Field.  All have been working well and are ready for G1 racing.

It will again be racing behind closed doors which is sad for the HKJC as this day normally attracts a big crowd but that is racing in January 2022.
