The top two races are the first two on Sunday's card.

Both races only have 6 starters in them.  What is happening at Sha Tin?  The first race is the Cornflower Handicap Class 1 over 1600m and with the small field we are going for the Tony Cruz trained Californiadeepshot with Joao Moreira on board.  Currently favourite on 3.4.

And another Cruz pupil is our pick in Race 2, a Class 2 over 1800m, also named California but this time Ten added to the name and the same 3.4 quote although he isn't currently the favourite.  Karis Teetan rides this time.

Good to hear during the week the Luke Currie is on the mend after his terrible accident during a trial at Sha Tin.  Ccurrie says that his recovery is going well and he about 3-4 weeks away to returning to ride track work.
