Now for the Guineas

And possibly the Derby too!

After his win in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket on Wednesday Native Trail looks to be set to tackle the Guineas and then on to the Derby.  He seems to have come back stronger and although some would have liked to see him pushed out to win by a greater margin than 3 ½ lengths, there was no need and William Buick obviously didn't want to overtax him.

Second home was Jane Chapple-Hyam's Claymore who continues to make a good impression considering that this was only his second start.  Andrew Balding's Hoo Ya Mai came third at 20/1 under a new jockey name to us at least – Marco Ghani.  We will investigate.

Earlier the Abernant went to Double or Bubble who won by a short head from Garrus with Jumby third.
