At Capannelle there's the Premio Parioli and the Premio Regina Elena

They are the Italian versions of the 2000 and 1000 Guineas.  We don't have any markets for these but raiders generally do well and especially well when they come from Germany.

There are 19 starters in the Parioli and here we like Peter Schiergen's Fire of the Sun with Sybilla Vogt on board.  Il Grande Gatsby has veteran jockey Ioritz Mendizabel riding and Andre Atzeni is revisiting his homeland to ride Sunny River for A. Botti.

The Regina Elena looks a nice race for Botti's Amalaura with Dario Vargiu riding.  French raider from the in-form Kobayashi yard is Bon Apetit with Pierre Bagine riding and another Mendizabel mount Prichi a possibility.

Saturday's Premio Ambrosiano G3 over 2000m went to French raider Dawn Intello from the Andreas Schutz yard who are having a very good season to date and so is jockey Gerald Mosse.
