The Oaks is over 2000m on turf.  Concert Hall is superbly bred by Galileo out of Was but we find it hard to catch her at home so hope we can do better here – she's on 3/1.  The Chad Brown pair of Haughty and Consumer Spending come in on 5/1.  Haughty is by Empire Maker and is the mount of Flavian Prat and Consumer Spending is by More than Ready and will be in the hands of Manuel Franco.

The Belmont Derby Invitational has 13 runners for the 2000m turf Gr 1 and looks to be a good contest between the raiders and the home team.  Heading the raiders is Aidan O'Brien's Stone Age who was scratched from the Eclipse in order to race in this and as usual Ryan Moore is in the irons and they are on 9/2.  Frankie Dettori is riding for Appleby here on Nation's Pride 5/1.  The home team features Emmanuel from Todd Pletcher's yard and Irad Ortiz riding and Tiz The Bomb from Kenny McPeek's stable with D. Davis riding – they are both on 6/1.
