Hong Kong will close off the 21-22 season on Saturday at Sha Tin.

Frankie Lor is already champion trainer but the champion jockey may go down to the wire.

There are two races to look at – Race 8 which is the HK Racehorse Owners' Association Trophy over 1600m and the Joy and Fun Handicap Race 10 on the 11 race card.

There are 11 runners in the Class 1 with Turin Redsun the current favourite for Douglas Whyte and Zac Purton on 2.5.  We rather like Boubonaire on 6.7 for Size-Badel and Money Catcher may do that on 8.6 for Lor-Moreira.

12 runners will line up for the Class 2 with Lucky Sweynesse for Man-Purton on 3.8.  He's been improving steadily and should be a good thing here.  We also like Moreira's mount Jumbo Fortune on 4.5, Blaze Warrior who has been consistent if not brilliant on 9.9 with John Size putting apprentice (2lb claim) Jerry Chau on board.  And certainly not the worse is Be Ready on 16.0 which seems very generous for Lor-Ho.
