Japanese racing up north

At Hakodate to be precise over the weekend.

Saturday saw the running of the Hakodate Nisai (Nisai means 2yo) G3 on yielding ground but the daughter of Big Arthur Boulton d'Or seems to have not had any problems as she cruised around for a win defeating Yutaka Take's mount Cri d'Ame by 1 ½ Lengths who in turn was just a neck in front of Omatsuri Otoko.

Sunday was still rainy and the Hakodate Kinen was also run on yielding ground with Hayayakko 18.8 winning from Meiner Virtus 4.0 and Scar Face 6.0.
