Adhamo too good in the United Nations at Monmouth

In the first of Monmouth's two Gr 1 races favourite Adhamo gave Chad Brown another turf winner, defeating Epic Bromance 73/1 and Temple the third home ahead of Tribhuvan who was out of luck this year and Gufo fifth,

The Haskell trip proved a bit too much for Jack Christopher who will be taken back in distance at his next outing and he had to settle for third in this.  Cyberknife 8/1 defeated his brother Taiba by a head (both are by Gun Runner).

At Saratoga the Coaching Club American Oaks was a landslide win for Nest – who should be the 3yo filly of the year after this – as she won by 12 ¼ lengths from Secret Oath.  No comment – the distance speaks for itself.

In the 7th race at Saratoga the race was declared a no contest after there was a minor problem with the gates so that an outrider tried to stop the runners after they broke – not clear of the sequence of things here – some horses finished OK others were disadvantaged.
