A new star has been added to the firmament in the form of Little Big Bear.

No wonder Ryan Moore chose to stay home in order to ride him in the G1 Phoenix Stakes as he won by 7 lengths very easily and was described by Aidan O'Brien after as his best winner of the 17 horses that have won this race for him.  Persian Force is a decent horse but could only come second with Shartash, who had won the Railway Stakes, third so Little Big Bear was defeating well-credentialed horses.

Earlier Go Bears Go (something to do with the Curragh that "Bears" won both top races?) won the Sprint defeating Ana Gyra 12/1 and Sacred Bridge 7/1.
