At Newmarket the Sioux Nation filly Lakota Sioux won the Sweet Solera G3 and will now be looking to tackle a G1. Dandy Alys was second on 16/1 and Mottisfont third also on 16/1. For the record Ivory Madonna was 4th and Novakai 5th.
At Haydock Anmaat ran away with the race leaving Grocer Jack with a great view of Anmaat's backside. Passion and Glory would arguably have to do a bit better than 6th here to justify the trip to Melbourne.
