Churchill Downs was the venue for the Beverly D and the Arlington Million

The Beverly D was won by Delika 15/2 from Princess Grace 4/1 with the more fancied runners at the back of the field but since it was only a 5-runner race no big clues come from this.

The Million went to Santin for Brendan Walsh and Tyler Gaffalone who started on 3/1 as did the second home Smooth Like Strait.  Sacred Life filled the third spot.

At Saratoga Casa Creed romped in to win the Fourstardave by 3 lengths with Favourite Regal Glory second and Masen a stablemate of the second in third.

At Del Mar the Yellow Ribbon was no problem for favourite Going Global with Avenue de France second – we had been on the wrong road or avenue here as we had selected Park Avenue who seemed to be stuck in park.

The Sorrento saw Vegas Magic, a daughter of Good Magic who obviously inherited her sires genes winning by 1 ¼ from favourite Procrastination.
