Moreira was riding the second favourite Lebensstil and had him parked comfortably againt the rail in about 7th spot until approaching the home turn he eased the colt out into clear air and pushed him forward and was able to beat the favourite Soi Oriens by 1 ¾ lengths. Third home was Shazzan
On Sunday at Hanshin in the G2 Rose Stakes the favourite also had to settle for second after Masked Diva under Mirai Iwata grabbed the victory by 1 ½ lengths with Brede Way trying to catch the winner but all too late. Third went to Malaki Nala 0n 15.1.
