Under a great ride from Hugh Bowman Spangles won his second Sha Tin Trophy.

It was a masterful exhibition of front running as Bowman judged the pace to perfection and the challengers had no chance and it looks like the horse is on track to defend his HK Mile trophy in December.  Encountered on 14.0 ran second and Beauty Eternal third, a length behind the winner.  Poor Circuit Stellar has to put a "4" in his picket fence.  Oh well maybe next time.
