John Size and Brenton Avdulla managed to get the wood over the shorter priced runners.

Sight Success got the win at 23/1 with a clever ride from Avdulla to get the win over Lucky Sweynesse who was the second home this time out.  Duke Wai ran his usual hones race for third and Victor the Winner was not in winning form on this occasion.

The Swimming Cl. 2 went to Rising From Ashes 22/1 with Nimble Nimbus second 23/1 and Five G Patch 9/1 third.  Unfortunately we did not have any of these runners nor did we have the trifecta which would have paid handsomely so it's back to work again!

We didn't have any better luck in the Equestrian Cl. 2 with the winner being Atuliigeal on 10/1, the Chilean bred Alacrity second on 7/2 and Sauventre 17/1 third.  However our roughie Supreme Lucky did run fourth which was nice for the horse if not so lucky for us.
