The undefeated son of Palace Malice managed to show both stamina and turn of foot in the 1600m G1 at Hanshin.

Fast-finishing Ecoro Waltz, by Black Tide, finished very fast under Yutaka Take and got past the game filly Tajano Elpida 13.2 to finish second by a neck.

Strauss took off down the back straight but couldn't keep it up and faded and Danon McKinley was never really in contention.

Meantime up in Nakayama Equinox had a very moving retirement ceremony and will now proceed with his next career, in which Almond Eye is already a nomination.  That product will be awaited with huge anticipation.
