At Meydan on Friday – but not in the expected order.

There was quite a battle between the two Godolphin (Appleby) fillies Silver Lady, by Sea The Stars, and the Frankel filly English Rose who was favourite.  There's 3 weeks between them in actual age and it was the older one with Barzalona on board who won out by a neck.

Hugo Palmer's Stenton Glider finished third but 4 lengths behind the first two home.
