Winning Trainer: Will Clarken (rep by Lachie Weekley - also Kah's manager)

"Terrific result with a hell of a horse. He's got a lot of ability. Just terrific. We're over the moon.

"He made a good long sustained run again today. He came over here (to Victoria) and he didn't bat an eyelid at all. It didn't worry him at all. He's got a hell of an engine. He's a very good galloper."

Future: "We'll see how he pulls up. Will can have a look at him over the next week but we probably will back off him for the spring. You'd think he'd have to be a good chance in a Toorak or something like that."

"Good to have Lachie over. He's been doing a lot of hard work behind the scenes. It's a big team effort there and he does a lot behind the scenes for Will. Very happy to get that done for them ahd topped off a good day."

On the horse: "He's a very tough horse. You can see on the line that he was peaking but he was never going to let anything get past him and he's got a good professional attitude about him. He's a lovely horse."

"He's come along well. He did his first bit of fast work this morning without doing a lot but he's really good.

Is he an underestimated horse: "i think so. He's done a pretty good job. He's won eight races. He's never been the totally soundest horse. That's why he mixes his form a little bit with feet issues off an on, but he's a good horse on his day and when he's right he's pretty hard to beat."

** MICHAEL KENT JNR ON STABLE RUNNERS NEXT SATURDAY AT CAULFIELD **

"Litchfield County is good, he's super progressive. Galloped super this morning at Sandown. He ran the fastest 600 when winning last time there (17 March). It was a very good performance coming from the back off the pace. We're keeping him fresh over the 1100 metres there'll be pace on for a sprinter-miler type so there'll be no reason why he can't run well.

"We may have River Twain in the same race also.

"In the three-year-old mile handicap we'll have Iron Edge who was a big run at Sandown last start as well after a flop in the Guineas. He a Beau Jasper who recently won his maiden."

Oceanex and Quantum Mechanic in Sydney: "For Oceanex, the forecast in Sydney isn't for rain. Does like to get the toe in but it shouldn't be rock hard. Quantum Mechanic, now a Group 2 winner, a mare in form. It's the obvious race on the calendar. She likes to get her toe in but she's flying. It'll be a good race - Krone is there and other top mares in Sydney - so it'll be a different kettle of fish."
