2022 GEORGE RYDER STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Genuine tempo from Riodini leading Forbidden Love. Dual-Group 1 winner MO'UNGA (2) returned in good order with a solid second in the G1 Futurity Stakes at Caulfield and will take a lot of benefit from that outing. Has won two from two around this track and draws perfectly for Berry in gate four. Rates the testing material.
FORBIDDEN LOVE (9) hasn't done much wrong this preparation with the only question being how she gets around this circuit. Sure to get a cosy run from gate two for Bowman and shouldn't have any excuses. PRIVATE EYE (3) was the eye-catcher first-up and can finish right over the top of these with clear running.
COLETTE (8) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out and can bounce back here. HILAL (12) doesn't strike any Anamoes or Converges in this and a strong showing would not surprise.
