Benbow had a double in combination with Travis Doudle winning the opening race aboard Spanish Heirloom before Jaguary scored later in the day, but the most satisfying win came aboard the Peter Moody-trained He's Heaven in the day's feature – the Listed Oaklands Plate over the 1400m for two-year-olds.

The son of Light's Of Heaven, who won the Group 1 Australasian Oaks at Morphettville back in 2011 before going on to run third in a Caulfield Cup, He's Heaven showed good speed to lead before proving too strong in the run to the line.

Doudle shared training honours with Will Clarken who was successful with Zoulah and Litchfield County who made a long waited return to winning form for his new connections at just his second SA start.

With the Bordertown meeting postponed on Sunday the long-awaited 200th start for local cult hero Flow Meter will have to wait with trainer John Hickmott nominating the horse for Morphettville Parks this weekend.
