Rawiller to return to Victoria

Campbell Rawiller will return to Victoria in next month.

Campbell Rawiller who has enjoyed a solid stint riding in South Australia for the Ryan Balfour stable will return home having purchased a property where he plans to mix his riding with his other passion - training greyhounds.

"My last meeting will be on the 30th (of July),'' Rawiller said.

"I've bought a property back home and am keen to get that up and going and it will be nice to get home with the family.

"The greyhounds are a passion along with horse racing and it's something I am keen to try and balance when I get home. I feel having something like that outside of racing is really important,'' he said.

Rawiller won't be lost totally to the South Australian riding ranks with the plan to make hit and run trips to ride in Adelaide on weekend.

"The plan will be to ride here on Saturday's when the opportunities present themselves,'' Rawiller said.

"I've had the best experience here, the people have been great

"Ryan (Balfour) said he'd really back me before I came and he's given me every opportunity, he's had my back the whole time.

"I had two metro winners last year, to come over and get 14 here was fantastic,'' he said.
