Caulfield Race 2 Number 8 UNUSUAL CULTURE - Place ($2.70, Ladbrokes)

She comes into this third-up and out to a mile, with the rise in distance suiting her down to the ground. She was placed in G3 company in NZ over 1600m last preparation, including third-up behind subsequent G1 NZ Oaks winner Belle En Rouge. She returned a near-peak figure of 90+ with Timeform last start, and can sit closer in the run if needed. We think she's a great winning chance, so $2.70 to place seems great value.

Rosehill Race 5 Number 5 FRUMOS - Win ($2.00)

This mare looks above average and has been kept fresh for this with a soft trial in-between runs. Firmer footing presents no queries and her form-lines stack up strongly here. Will have to go back from the outside draw but there appears to be enough speed in the race for her to cruise into it. Should be winning.

Morphettville Race 9 Number 4 - GLACIUS Win ($3.70)

Ran on well behind a handy horse in Taunting last week at Murray Bridge after drawing wide. Lobs in a better spot here from the gate and drops in class at just his third race start. Still has plenty of upside and strikes a race where the others have hit their mark. Should be going close.
