The track is currently rated a good 4 and the rail will be back in the true position.

Our Ladbrokes preview can be found below.

RACE 1 - 6:15PM: INGLIS PREMIER SALE 3-5 MARCH HANDICAP BM70 (3000 METRES)

Border Leicester is racing in career best form.

After twelve months off the scene the Redwood gelding resumed with a very encouraging performance over 1726m before making it back to back wins.

He proved too strong over the final stages when stepping out over 3000m two runs back and was doing his best work late last time when dropping back to 2500m here.

He'll appreciate getting back out to 3000m and he has been the runner up in two of three starts over this track and trip.

He does have to carry the 60kgs but I don't think that will trouble him and Blake Shinn will again do the steering for Emma-Lee and David Browne.

RACE 2 - 6:45PM: LADBROKES 55 SECOND CHALLENGE HEAT 13 BM78 (955 METRES)

Foxicon didn't have the best of luck when resuming in the Listed W. J Adams Stakes last start.

The speedy mare settled on the fence just in behind the leaders and never really saw clear running.

She proved herself as a very handy sprinter last campaign beating some quality opposition and she does have a terrific record here at the Valley.

With the rise in the weights, Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman have secured Jaylah Kennedy to do the steering and take 3kgs off.

RACE 3 - 7:15PM: THE QUEST MOONEE VALLEY SUMMER MIDDLE DISTANCE SERIES HEAT 4 BM70 F&M (1600 METRES)

Kind Gesture drops back in grade after contesting the Group 3 T.S. Carlyon Cup last start.

After beginning her career in the UK the Michael Kent trained mare hasn't had the best of luck in her Australian starts but has showed that she's certainly talented.

Unlucky not to have won two starts back as she was badly interfered with, she was relegated to second after crossing the line in third placing.

She should find this easier than what she's been contesting and comes here hard fit.

Celine Gaudray goes onboard and will take 1.5kgs off

RACE 4 - 7:45PM: THE MARSH VICTORIAN RACING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS MIDDLE DISTANCE SERIES HEAT 3 BM70 CG&E (1600 METRES)

Rise At Dawn comes here off a dominant first up win and looks to have plenty of upside.

The lightly raced son of Almanzor has won two of his three starts and was beaten less than a length at his only other appearance, in which he sustained a wide run.

When resuming over 1400m at Pakenham he took up the lead and showed a good kick in the straight to pull away and score easily by four lengths.

The rise in trip should suit and he gets in the advantage of the inside draw.

Daniel Stackhouse has partnered him to all three outings and he stays in the saddle for team Hayes.

RACE 5 - 8:15PM: THE EDSA GROUP VALLEY SUMEMR MIDDLE DISTANCE SERIES HEAT 5 BM70 (2040 METRES)

It's hard to against Lauding here.

The Proisir gelding caught the eye when charging home from the tail two starts back and he undoubtably should have won at his most recent outing.

After settling in the second half of the field he found himself behind a wall of horses for the vast majority of the straight only getting clear over the final 50m and his rider was unsuccessful when lodging a protest.

Ben Melham takes over the reins and from gate nice you'd expect him to settle back and be charging over the top of them late.

RACE 6 - 8:45PM: THE ORBIT LOGISTICS VALLEY SUMMER SPRINT SERIES HEAT 5 BM78 (1200 METRES)

Bellinger hasn't been far away in recent runs and the form around him is solid.

The Zoustar gelding was only beaten by the barest of margins back in November before being given a six week let up and his three runs since have been full of merit.

Two runs back he was terrific over this track and distance, after a slow getaway he was held up approaching the turn but charged late in the straight to get within a length of the eventual winner.

He was solid through the line at Randwick last time out comes here in top order.

If he can hold a spot from the low draw and find some luck in running, he'll be right there at the the finish.

RACE 7 - 9:15PM: PKF TORNEY NIGHT CUP LISTED (2500 METRES)

Mankayan strips fitter for the two runs back and looks ready to peak third up.

The former import nearly pinched the Listed Lord Stakes when resuming, where after settling at the tail, he powered home down the outside to claim second.

Last time he stepped out over 2040m here and only really got going over the final stages.

He'll relish the rise to 2500m and has drawn to get the right run under John Allen, who retains the ride for Ciaron Maher.

RACE 8 - 9:45PM: THE ORBIT LOGISTICS VALLEY SUMMER SPRINT SERIES HEAT 4 BM64 (1200 METRES)

Niance will make her Australian debut under the care of new trainer Grahame Begg.

The Kiwi mare has just had the four starts which included a win and second placing and she comes here off a long break after contesting the Listed Mufhasa Stakes.

Given just the one 800m jump out she was taken back and worked through the line nicely under a hold and she looked to have plenty in hand.

The form around her is strong, she's proven first up and with any luck from the draw, I'm sure she'll make her presence felt.
