Besides the possibility of a few showers, a near perfect day and surface should provide the basis for a great day of racing.

We've cast our eye over the form and provided our best bets below.

RACE 1 - 12:38PM: QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap (1400 METRES)

Can't Recall One (1) impressed on debut over 1300m here and looks well placed to go back-to-back.

The Stu Kendrick-trained son of Reliable Man was slow to exit the barriers and settled last before storming home to win by 1.3 lengths and with something in hand.

He was powerful through the line so the rise to 1400m should be to his liking.

2 Units – Can't Recall One (1)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 1

RACE 2 - 1:13PM: Class 1 Handicap (1200 METRES)

Grand Meteor (13) has started her career in fine style.

The Tony Gollan-trained three-year-old filly easily won her maiden at her second start before a very good effort last start over 1400m here against open three-year-old company.

She led and gave a good kick but was overpowered by one of Queensland's best horses at the moment Sharp Dazzler to finish third by 2.4 lengths.

The drop back to 1200m suits and she should enjoy a beautiful run on speed for Angela Jones.

1 Unit – Grand Meteor (13)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 2

RACE 3 - 1:48PM: BENCHMARK 70 Handicap (1400 METRES)

Naval Trader (5) looks ready to win third-up after a very good performance over this course and distance last start.

The O'Dea Hoysted-trained son of Merchant Navy worked home strongly to finish third by a head.

He'll strip fitter third-up and is a previous winner over this distance here when having his third run in a preparation.

A solid speed will aid his course and I like the booking of strong rider Justin Huxtable.

2 Units – Naval Trader (5)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 3

RACE 4 - 2:23PM: BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (2400 METRES)

Disputed River (5) is racing in fantastic form at the moment and is looking for his fourth win in a row.

Following close wins over 1845m and 2020m he stepped up to 2206m here last start and handled it with aplomb, running on strongly to easily win by a length.

While he meets several of his rivals from last start worse at the weights, he did comfortably have their measure and he was strongest late so the rise in trip should suit.

He maps to get a great run for Jake Bayliss who has been aboard for each of his three recent wins.

1 Unit – Disputed River (5)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 4

RACE 5 - 2:58PM: Class 6 Handicap (1400 METRES)

Rainbow Connection (1) was unlucky not to win last start at Grafton over 1410m and can make amends here.

The Matt Dunn-trained son of Choisir found himself at that tail of the field and wide but despite never getting on the track he still ran on strongly to finish a half-length second.

Prior to that, he won at Ipswich three starts ago and was a close third at Doomben after working in the run.

He draws much better today and should enjoy a nice run for Jimmy Orman.

RACE 6 - 3:33PM: QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (1500 METRES)

Sharp Dazzler (2) is low flying and looks well placed to win his fourth race in a row.

The Tony and Maddy Sears-trained gelding loves Eagle Farm boasting an unbeaten record.

His last start win over 1400m here was particularly impressive given he was posted wide and back but still ran past his rivals like they were standing still to win by 2.3 lengths.

This race is no harder and he gets in nicely at the weights with Bailey Wheeler's claim.

3 Units – Sharp Dazzler (2)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 6

RACE 7 - 4:08PM: BENCHMARK 68 Handicap (1800 METRES)

This race is a lottery and if you find the winner, you've done well!

I'm going with Bella Tivaci (9) whose form can't be knocked since joining the Brian Smith stable from Chris Waller with two wins from six starts.

Last start the four-year-old mare fought bravely in a similar strength race to this over 1600m.

She will appreciate stepping back up to 1800m given she worked home powerfully here two starts ago to finish just under a length second.

1 Unit Each Way – Bella Tivaci (9)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 7

RACE 8 - 4:47PM: QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (1200 METRES)

Press Link (2) lines up in his third race start looking to keep is unbeaten record intact.

The Rob Heathcote-trained son of Press Statement resumed over 1110m at Doomben in fine style, winning eased down by 2.3 lengths.

He'll strip fitter second-up and given the way he finished off last start the rise to 1200m will suit.

The barrier is a touch sticky, but he has plenty of upside and has top jockey Michael Rodd piloting.

1 Unit – Press Link (2)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 8

RACE 9 - 5:27PM: OPEN Handicap (1200 METRES)

Contemptuous (1) returns to the track following a luckless run in The Syndicate race on Magic Millions Day.

While it's been a long time between drinks for the O'Dea Hoysted-trained son of Rubick, he does his best work when fresh boasting three wins and four placings from ten first-up races.

He looked good in a recent trial where he led from start to finish without being asked for an effort to record a 2.8 length win.

Justin Huxtable will need a touch of luck from the tricky gate but if he gets it then he'll be fighting out the finish.

1 Unit Each Way – Contemptuous (1)

BET NOW: Eagle Farm Race 9

RACE 10 - 6:08PM: BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (1600 METRES)

Seneschal (14) has been racing well this preparation and should be at peak fitness now.

Two starts back the Stu Kendrick-trained four-year-old gelding worked home strongly to win over 1400m here.

Last start over this course and distance he fought gamely but missed out in a head bobbing finish with Thesecondatportsea.

He rises in class but drops a massive 6.5kg which will come in handy at the business end of the race.
