The track is rated a soft 7 and the rail will be out 8m the entire circuit.

Our Ladbrokes preview can be found below.

RACE 1 - 1:20PM: WHITFORD LIQUID WASTE MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES)

Togetherforether will start the short priced favourite and deservedly so.

Placed in all three runs, the daughter of Impending resumed with a solid over effort over 1200m, where she worked hard in the early part was just run down late.

She drops back to 1000m and Michael Hickmott has elected to apply the blinkers for the first time.

Jamie Kah will do the steering and she certainly looks the one to beat.

RACE 2 - 1:55PM: THE HAYMARKET 3YO MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES)

Mr Assertive has just the one start and there was a lot to like about his performance.

Over the 1000m dash at Bendigo the Press Statement colt was always wide and showed a strong kick to hit the front 100m out but was just run down late.

Prepared by Mark and Levi Kavanagh, the three year old will have taken plenty of benefit from the experience and looks well placed here.

Fred Kersley was onboard for that outing, he stays in the saddle and the good gate should see him afforded every chance.

RACE 3 - 2:30PM: PORTER PLANT 2YO MAIDEN PLATE (1200 METRES)

Snack Bar was terrific on debut here over 1000m.

The Godolphin youngster was taken back to the tail off the wide gate and when brought into clear air at the top of straight, he let down powerfully to run into second, putting up a 2.75 length margin back to third.

He'll relish the rise to 1200m and is set to receive all the favours from barrier two under Jamie Kah.

RACE 4 - 3:05PM: EVERGREEN TURF MAIDEN PLATE (1400 METRES)

High Five makes his Australian debut.

The Kiwi import just had the two starts in NZ before making his way over and he performed well on both occasions.

Beaten by the barest of margins at his second outing over 1200m, the son of Ace High has displayed nice ability and should continue to improve as he gets out over further.

He was doing his best work late in a recent Gawler trial and looks well placed here kicking off at 1400m.

Jamie Kah will do the steering for Michael Hickmott.

RACE 5 - 3:40PM: LOVES BALLARAT BM64 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

Liberty State recorded her maiden win in fine style when putting a 7.5 length margin over the 1488m trip at Kyneton last start.

With only the three race starts, the mare has performed well on each occasion and was unlucky to come up against the very smart Sunshineinmypocket when resuming.

The daughter of American Pharoah looks to have plenty of upside and the Hawkes team have elected to let her work through her grades rather than throwing her in the deep end.

RACE 6 - 4:15PM: HYGAIN WINNERS CHOICE BM64 HANDICAP (2000 METRES)

Gottabesavvy hasn't been far away in recent runs and presents here hard fit.

The gelding didn't have the best of luck two runs back, held up approaching the turn at the Valley, he lost his momentum but got going again late when it was all over.

He just kept grinding to the line last time over 2400m and the form from that race has been franked with the third placegetter saluting on the Hillside on Monday.

The drop back to 2000m looks ideal and the son of Savabeel will relish the wet conditions.

Craig Newitt goes onboard for Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young and with any luck from the wide draw, he'll be right there at the finish.

RACE 7 - 4:50PM: LOVES BALLARAT F&M BM64 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

Refreshing will have taken plenty of benefit from her first up outing.

Whist she did finish at the back of the pack, the Star Turn mare didn't have the best of luck in the straight and was only beaten two lengths.

From two second up appearances she has recorded a win and a second placing and she'll certainly appreciate the rise in trip.

She was racing well last campaign and the form around her is solid.

Yet to finish out of the top three on wet tracks, she'll relish the conditions and has drawn to get the gun run under Patrick Maloney.

RACE 8 - 5:25PM: HYGAIN WINNERS CHOICE BM64 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

Niccolite comes off a tenacious first up victory at Warrnambool.

The Nicconi mare was stepping out for the new stable for the first time and despite a wide run, she travelled well and produced a strong kick to reel in the leader in the shadows of the post.

She had been racing well against quality opposition last campaign and clearly appreciated the drop back in grade.

Whilst she does rise in class again, her second up record is terrific and she does race particularly well in soft and heavy going.

Tayla Childs retains the mount, she'll take 2kgs off and from gate two will afford her every chance.
