Trainer Zoe Hohn is hopeful her three starters at Callaghan Park on Friday will help cash her up for a possible career highlight in Rockhampton the following day.

Hohn has entered Hedon'Twantme in the Maiden Handicap, Ruffin' It in the 0-55 Handicap and Sweet Jina in the Class One Handicap and rates the latter as the pick of her trio.

Hohn's biggest win of her career was with Macho Tycoon in the Rockhampton Amateurs Cup in 2018 and is hopeful Skreatch can win Saturday's Capricorn Yearling Sales Classic for three and four-year-olds.

"I've got three running on Friday and Sweet Jina is probably the pick of them," Hohn said.

"She's returning from a tendon injury and the main query I have is on a wet track if we get any rain."

Apprentice Alisha Donald will partner all three Friday runners for Hohn.

Sweet Jina is making her stable debut after being moved on from the Kris Hansen barn and hasn't raced since February last year when she finished fourth over 1100 metres at Rockhampton.

"Old Ruffin' It has been a good horse for the stable but it takes him three or four runs to get into his preparation and Hedon'twantme is a bit hot headed and is just starting to put it together."

Hohn has lived in Rockhampton for eight years and had a background in barrel racing and camp drafting before taking out her trainer' licence.

"I also did a lot of breaking in and pre training as well," she said.

Hohn expects a strong showing from Skreatch who was previously trained over the border by Tony Newing.

"He came up here for the two-year-old race last year and he was stabled with me," Hohn said.

"I fell in love with him straight away and told Tony I'd like to have him if he was ever sold.

"Tony rang me one day and said he was for sale on line and I got him for $1100.

"I thought he would go for about $5,000 but there was no reserve. I was very happy."

Hohn has a passion for rehabilitating injured horses and fixed a few minor quirks Skreatch had before giving him first start at Mackay last month.

The son of Holler lived up to Hohn's thoughts with narrow win over 1100 metres on debut.

"I was super confident he'd win and the only problem was how he'd travel from Rocky to Mackay," she said.

"He's the first runner I've had in the Capricorn Sales race and I think he's a fair chance."
