Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Warwick Farm, Eagle Farm, Strathalbyn and Ascot.
WARWICK FARM: RACE 5 @ 4:05 PM
STRAIGHT ARRON (7) looked good winning on debut at Sandown before being tipped out for a short freshen up. Kept ticking over for this with a strong trial here and draws the inside alley for McDonald. Has plenty of upside and should go right on with the job now. LOCH EAGLE (8) couldn't have been more impressive shedding the maiden tag at Newcastle by four lengths first-up and will take a stack of confidence from that victory. Looks a major threat. RIVER SNITTY (10) won over this journey last start and is one for the multiples. ALL ENGLAND (4) best of the rest.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 6 @ 4:33 PM
MISCHIEF MANAGED (3) is ready to fire third-up off the two near-misses. She comes back in grade and is an improved galloper. In the premier barn and clearly rates the one to beat. KAVAK (8) brought strong form to resumption and folded up from the speed. That was out of character and he's since won a Doomben trial. Will ride the speed and he performs second-up. BESTIE (2) was plain the latest in stronger but the placed effort at Toowoomba prior reads well. Has the rail and the 3kg claim brings him into it. PLATINUM EUROS (4) resumes and didn't come up last preparation. Has obviously had issues but is good enough the late betting will tell plenty.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Mischief Managed.
STRATHALBYN: RACE 7 @ 5:10 PM
FOX GEM (2) is lightly-raced and won the 62 in town as expected and excusing the effort at The Parks after in stronger again. Has trialled sharply since and draws handy with a 2kg claim. Fitter and clearly the one to beat. YE HELLA (3) didn't have much luck at The Parks and go on the strong effort here prior. Will likely push forward today and can make the finish. RICHED (12) gets weight relief and won well enough at Clare to consider. LOMAX (1) resumes for the new barn owning a Murray Bridge trial win. Has ability and needs to be kept safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Fox Gem to win.
ASCOT: RACE 8 @ 4:50 PM
KOHLI (7) is busting to win and keep holding a strong level of form. In a leading barn and finds the right race with some weight relief. ALBUKHTURI (8) was just nudged out first-up and then ran his best race here three weeks ago pipped a short half head. Will push forward and the longer sprint suits. A live chance with a senior hoop on for the apprentice. INVICTUS DOMINI (2) resumes off a long break but has plenty of ability and the trials have been sharp. Goes fresh and keep safe. LORDHELPMERUN (1) resumes off a solid trial with a form hoop up. He's won fresh and has raced in stronger. A betting watch.
