3yo filly Regaleira is taking on the boys in the Satsuki Sho.

That's the Japanese 2000 Guineas run over 2000m and Regaleira is trying to be the first girl to win this in 76 years!  She's by Suave Richard, she won the Hopeful en route here and will be ridden by Kitamura-san.  Se's also top in the Morning Line on 4.3.

Next best on 4.9 is Shin Emperor, a full brother to French Derby winner Sotsasss.  He's with Yahagi-sensei (one of his three entries) and stable jockey Sakai-san has the ride and he was second recently in the Hochi Hai Deep Impact kinen.  Justin Milano is on 5.0 and is by Kizuna out of an Exceed and Excel dam giving him an Aussie connection.  Tosaki-san rides. 

Also in single figures Meisho Taberu by Gold Ship is on 8.4, Jantar Mantar by  Palaca Malice is on 9.0 -he won the Asahi Futurity but was beaten by Justin Milano in a G3.

Two at a bit of value are Joao Moreira's mount Cosmo Kuranda by Al Ain on 16.5 and Mr G.T. by Duramente on 16.5 who won a listed race in March.
