Unbeaten juvenile colt Givemethebeatboys (Bungle Inthejungle) topped Monday night's Goffs London Sale when bought by Bronson Racing for £1.1 million.

Owned by Con and Theresa Marnane's Bansha House Stable and trained in Ireland by Jessie Harrington, Givemethebeatboys broke his maiden on 13 May at Navan before taking out the Group 3 Marble Hill Stakes (6f) at the Curragh two weeks later.

Frankie Dettori will partner the unbeaten son of Bungle Inthejungle (Exceed And Excel) in Tuesday's Group 2 Coventry Stakes (6f) at Royal Ascot.

No Nay Mets (No Nay Never) was the next highest priced lot of the evening as the recent two-year-old black type Gulfstream Park winner sold to Liam Culman of Tuckernuck Stables for £800,000. The colt, who is out of the Group 3 winning War Front (Danzig) mare Etoile, is due to run in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes (5f) at this week's Royal meeting.

The team of Gai Waterhouse, Adrian Bott and Johnny McKeever, regularly among the leading buyers at the London Sale, secured two contenders for the Royal Meeting in Cuban Dawn, a son of Teofilo (Galileo) from Glebe House Stables, who goes for the Golden Gates Stakes on Saturday and sold for £300,000.

They also purchased two-time winning three-year-old New Endeavour (New Bay), consigned by Varian Stables and with an entry in the Britannia on Thursday at Ascot, for £260,000.

Another to prove hugely popular was the Tim Donworth trained Ocean Vision (U S Navy Flag), a recent Listed winner at Longchamp with a Group 3 Jersey Stakes (7f) entry, who sold for £250,000 to Kentucky Derby-winning owner Ramiro Restrepo's Marquee Bloodstock.

During the sale, 11 of the 21 lots offered were sold for £3,770,000. The average finished at £342,727, down 8 per cent from last year's figure. The median fell 16 per cent to £250,000.

Reflecting on a spectacular evening at Kensington Palace Gardens, Goffs Group Chief Executive Henry Beeby said:

"We are delighted with today's London Sale, which saw strong demand from an international audience capped by a dream result for the connections of Givemethebeatboys.  We are delighted for the Marnane family and wish new owners Bronsan Racing the very best of luck in the Coventry Stakes tomorrow.

"The chance to offer the dream of a Royal Ascot runner is very special, and everyone at Goffs will be shouting as loud as anybody for Givemethebeatboys, or indeed any of the other Ascot runners from today's sale, over the next few days."
