Race 1

#3 OVER THE MOON has performed well at his two starts in class 5 and this is a great opportunity to notch up a win.Hugh Bowman has taken the challenge of getting him home since he reached this grade and he'll be keen on getting it done. With races not getting any easier now, this is his time to strike.
#4 RED IMPACT has had all sorts of issues during his short career but creates interest going in to this race second up.He found the line with purpose at Happy Valley first up with the change of stable in January refreshening his mind. His career record at Sha Tin is an obvious deterrent but he's a class 4 winner at his prime.
#7 PAKISTAN FRIEND is an ageing galloper that's paid his way with five career wins. He's suffered ongoing throat issues for years and underwent surgery in October 2021.He's extremely well rated and his best has been achieved out in front, but he's risky.
#9 LUCKY MISSILE has been thereabouts his past couple and the low barrier draw gives him options in a wide open race.Returning back to 1800m from 2200m should add strength to his finishing burst. He's also in the hands of a rider who's won on him in the past, which is decent sized tick alongside his name.
#12 CABLE SPEED has found bother out the gates his past two starts but was a winner prior when racing on speed. The near outside draw might be helpful on this occasion as he appreciates his room to move. With former Hong Kong apprentice ERIC CHEUNG, now a senior in Macau, taking the ride, I'd expect to see him go forward with plenty of purpose.

Selections : 3,4,7,9,12

R2 - 6,10,1,5,3

Race 3

#5 PO ON WAY showed enough down the straight track to suggest he can be competitive following the referred debut. This isn't a strong class 4 contest and he maps to enjoy the run of the race.
Mathew Chadwick has since been aboard his final two gallops and the latter was an encouraging piece of work.
#4 MULTISUPER is all about speed and the step up to 1200m has its pro's and con's.It'll entitle him to cross and lead, with minimal pressure, but is likely to test his stamina through the final 200m.However, he continues building strength with every performance and should give a very big sight.
#1 PULSAR STRIDER makes the transfer down into class 4 following a number of solid efforts in the higher grade.Zac Purton jumps aboard, which catches the eye, considering he's had little to do with the horse in the past. The draw and weight make things complicated but as already suggested, it's not a strong race to win.
#8 GLUCK RACER was rather unlucky last start when held up for a run at a pivotal stage. He's ready to win over this track and trip and the addition of blinkers is a plus. The draw looks excellent, but it could potentially go against him as he settles back in the field.
#2 PINS PRINCE returns following a bleed so he must be taken on trust.Three trials at Conghua leading in have been marked satisfactory but with zero pressure applied.A good draw, trainer and jockey, plus, formidable records in the grade, course and trip, suggest he's worthy of respect.

Selections : 5,4,1,8,2

R4 - 3,7,2,12,9

R5 - 1,2,5,14,8

R6 - 12,2,4,3,1

Race 7

Hong Kong/Macau Trophy
(Class 1 - 1400m - HCP)

#2 BEAUTY ETERNAL is the obvious selection in the days feature event despite the fact he's been up for a while. This exciting 4yo has group races to deal with next season, judged on wins this preparation, and is likely to be headed shortly for the hay.Weight, barrier, class and opposition shouldn't pose a threat, so it'll come down to his mental strength during the downward spiral of campaign.
#3 CIRCUIT STELLAR is a tough nut to crack when allowed to run wild on the lead. He'll cross those draw underneath before setting up camp with blistering speed. He's often vulnerable to a superior turn of foot but you've got to get to him first.
#5 THE IRISHMAN is yet to reach his full potential in Hong Kong and appears nicely placed. His racing pattern assures he'll run more placings than wins as he often runs out of time. However, a good tempo to run at and a nine pound relief create the environment he desires.
#1 STAR OF YUI CHEUNG is the big gun from MACAU and rated the best horse going around. With fifteen wins and eight seconds from twenty seven attempts, he's very rarely pushed or shoved around. He's got tactical speed with strength to boot but the weight can test him this side of town.
#8 THE GOLDEN SCENERY hasn't won a race this season but he can be considered a light weight chance. He'll do no work from the draw, and be benefited by a high race speed, before cutting loose with his regular fast finishing burst.

Selections : 2,3,5,1,8

R8 - 9,4,1,3,12

R9 - 8,7,5,2,1

R10 - 12,4,8,3,1
