Australian thoroughbred TAB meetinfs are today held at Geelong, the Sunshine Coast, Pinjarra, Moe, Muswellbrook, Alice Springs and Hobart.

HOBART: RACE 2 @ 12:30PM: SISTINE (11) was the money horse resuming but spent most of the race being restrained to the point where she had the entire field in front of her turning for home. This maiden looks no harder, and trainer Siggy Carr goes back aboard after being a late change last meeting due to Covid-19. EXPENSIVE MISTAKE (1) was no match for Fairy Magic last time but wasn't alone there. Stablemate DONNA'S DAY (4) is a market watch. Her most recent trial was a bit inconclusive given we know the winner might be handy, but she also crossed the line with one that has shown very little on race day. HER THOUGHTS (6) was scratched from Devonport last Sunday. She gets the blinkers on at start five for the campaign and has put in performances that will see her competitive in a field like this. JACKJACK (2) raced wide at his first run for Gary White.

SELECTIONS: Sistine to win.

As a FREE Racing and Sports offer, below is the Hobart computer card for today's meeting.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 2 @ 1:25PM: A lot to learn here with many of these babies at the races for the first time. Of the raced brigade MOTHER JOY (4) didn't do much wrong in her first campaign with a solid third at Tuncurry before an impressive Grafton victory. Has since been give time to mature and will be right there when the whips are cracking. BALLON BLEU (6) is another facing the starter for the first time but has shown enough at the trials to warrant respect in this. Keep safe. LUNA VOLANTI (10) looked good in a recent trial and draws a perfect barrier on debut. Respect any market moves.

SELECTIONS: Mother Joy to win.

PINJARRA: RACE 3 @ 1:32PM: JUST JERRY (2) is an 11-start maiden who looks close to losing his maiden tag after finishing in the placings at his last two starts, most recently when coming from 10th on the turn over 2000m to finish third at Belmont Park. On recent results rates as the runner to beat. ARTIENNE (6) lines up on the back of a 1.75 lengths second over 1600m at Northam when coming from sixth on the turn. Hard to see her not figuring in the finish. SECRET LAIR (1) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1500m and with an extra 100m in distance today looks a strong contender. BENT LEG BORIS (4) comes here off a last-start fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 1650m at Belmont Park. Include in all combinations.

SELECTIONS: Just Jerry looks the one to beat.

GEELONG: RACE 4 @ 2:05PM: MEINER LEGACY (2) stuck to his task well two starts ago when second to the handy Henry The Lion at Warrnambool on rain affected going. He backed that up last start with another good second from a forward position in the run. John Allen on and out to this trip are in his favour and he can go one better here. MIKASA (6) has had a few chances but went very close last start with a good gap to third. She doesn't want it too wet but warrants respect from a forward position in the run. SHINE AND DANDY (4) has placed at his past three starts including last start at this track. He's an each way play again. THINKING MAN (5) ran an improved race last start and should be suited out to this trip. Include in the exotics.

SELECTIONS: Meiner Legacy gets his chance.

MOE: RACE 6 @ 2:20PM: WOLF REIN (8) took 13 runs to break the maiden but did so emphatically last start, leading from the outset and putting 4 lengths on her rivals over this course and distance. Not a great deal of depth to this race so she can get the job done again. NO NEW TRICKS (6) made late ground deep on the track to finish fourth when resuming last time out over 1100m at Kilmore. Not a prolific winner but from the inside gate with added fitness he can test this field. LUV A DUCK (1) appreciated the step up in trip when second-up recently, battling on well for third over today's journey at Pakenham synthetic. Will race on the speed and should give backers a great sight. GEM EDITION (11) was too bad to be true at Pakenham last start. The couple of runs before that were solid so give her another chance. SACRED KIWI (2) could surprise at odds after a 45-day let-up.

SELECTIONS: Keen on #8 Wolf Rein.

ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 5 @ 3:38PM: FUTURE DREAMS (4) was an impressive winner last time over 1200m at this track, scoring by 3 lengths. Up in the weights but winning rider aboard and can measure up again. HANDBALL (3) ran below expectations last time out, finishing seventh and beaten 5.5 lengths at Toowoomba over 1625m. Deserves another chance. HALOGEM (2) started at $4.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths at Tennant Creek over 1450m. Back to Alice Springs should suit. ROCKFORD FILES (5) is yet to break through in 17 runs but wasn't far away last time when second over 1600m at this track on April 29 and can place again.

SELECTIONS: Future Dreams to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 6 @ 4:04PM: BRILLIANT CONCEPT (1) deserved the middle distance win on the poly in a 78 and then was okay at Doomben in an 80. Draws for the run of the race back in grade and Orman sticking is a decent lead. In a strong barn and gives every indication the staying trip will suit. ACCESSORY (3) just missed finishing ahead of the above in that contest improving again. Peaks now and is sure to go close. ALIRAAJ (5) has won three of his last four and it was easy from the front in 70 grade at Toowoomba the latest. He tackles this distance for the first time and is sure to give a good sight. SCILAGO (8) is fourth-up and has more up the sleeve. He may sit handier today and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: Going with Brilliant Concept.
