Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 11.

Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Morphettville Parks, Eagle Fram, Sandown Hillside, and Belmont Park.

RANDWICK: RACE 7 @ 2:30 PM

NIGHT OF POWER (11) has been very good in recent starts and looks well placed down in the weights on the quick back up. Should hopefully settle closer and with even luck, he should prove hard to hold out. ART CADEAU (1) made light work of them at this track last start and only looks to have to repeat that level of performance to be right in the finish again. OSCAR ZULU (4) hasn't had much luck in both starts back and from a fitness point of view he should be nearing his peak. Drawn to get a nice run and remains under strong notice. JUNIPAL (2) dropped out badly last start but is clearly better than that and is worth another chance.
SELECTIONS: Backing Night Of Power.

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 2 @ 12:07 PM

LEGLESS LADY (13) was first up off a long spell at Murray Bridge last start but ran on strongly for second, beaten 0.8 lengths. Was thought of highly enough to contest listed company on debut, running very well behind See You In Spring, before also contesting G3 company. Should strip fitter and prove hard to beat. CHUCK NATION (2) has trialled well enough to be a threat on debut from a good draw. WILLASTON (6) ran on to place on debut so the longer trip suits while YEAH YEAH NAH (10) didn't miss by much last start.
SELECTIONS: Legless Lady to win.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 2 @ 12:18 PM

KIRWAN'S LANE (2) brings strong form from NSW having finished close up in two runs since his Hawkesbury Cup win. Suited getting back to the mile as his strike rate at this trip is impressive and he gets Bowman back aboard. BIGBOYROY (3) found winning form when leading throughout in the G3 Lord Mayors Cup last start. Goes up 3kg but is race fit so could back that up. SCALLOPINI (1) drops back from a G1 after a close second in the Victory Stakes when resuming. Has only once missed a place in eight third-up attempts. BULLFINCH (7) was a winner over 1400m last start and is unbeaten at this trip. Must respect. ADELASE (9) went close last start and hasn't missed a placed third up.
SELECTIONS: Kirwan's Lane to add to a good record at the mile.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 7 @ 3:20 PM

VISINARI (3) ran two big ratings to start this campaign with the new yard and while the winning run came to an end last start the string of big ratings didn't. Big effort but just bumped into a better one on the day. Think this sets up well for him and if he can run his race again he is clearly the horse to beat. KIPPS (5) ran a big race at his Australian debut and looks sure to win a nice race down here. That looks like it is going to happen over further than the mile though. CHIEF ALTONY (1) hammered them back at 1300m on the Lakeside last time. Late splits were terrific and no issues at all back to a mile. Last-start winner VITRUVIUS (16) is in the mix again.
SELECTIONS: Visinari is the one to be with.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 8 @ 4:15 PM

GOD HAS CHOSEN (10) is an exciting type and he scored a big win in the Belmont Sprint two weeks ago. The mile holds no fears and he's a top chance again. LAVERROD (4) ran fourth in the same race off a wide gate and comes up with a much softer gate this time around. More than capable of giving this a shake. MASSIMO (2) led them up and fought on well for third in the race in question. Pushes forward again and is an each-way chance. Expecting some improvement from NOTORIOUS ONE (11) and SAMIZDAT (7) who are both good enough to feature on their best.
SELECTIONS: God Has Chosen to win. Trifecta 10-2,4,7,11/2,4,7,11.
