Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Ballarat Synthetic, Newcastle and Albury.

BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM

MIETTA (6) delivered as expected on debut and has been taken along quietly since then. She appears to have a bright future and should be too strong for this field. COEUR DE PARIS (7) did it tough when resuming and had to settle for a third placing as a starting favourite, She strips fitter and should be thereabouts. Include in all multiples. KOSOWSKI (2) was a good winner here two starts back before failing on the Pakenham synthetic next up. He has a much better record on this track and can make amends.
SELECTIONS: Mietta win bet.

NEWCASTLE: RACE 5 @ 3:10 PM

A bit to learn here with a couple facing the starter for the first time. OAKFIELD REDGUM (5) was a handy third over this track and trip on debut and has since been given time to furnish. Tuned up for this with a recent trial and is expected to be right there at the business end. The well-related MIRRIE DANCER (4) is a live hope with Gibbons on board. GOLDEN GATE (3) hails from a good barn and shouldn't be discounted.
SELECTIONS: Oakfield Redgum to win.

ALBURY: RACE 6 @ 4:05 PM

ZUMORADDA (1) faces his easiest task since arriving in AUS. He won well fresh at Bendigo, but weakened late in the race at Cranbourne most recently. Easier here though, he's drawn well and will take plenty of beating. GREEK TYCOON (2) was in good touch prior to a disappointing effort at Dubbo last time out. He steps out to 1400m once more, but he's drawn for a perfect run. Can bounce back. EASIER (5) bolted in first-up at this track but weakened badly after leading at Goulburn last time out. Gets back onto a heavy surface today and improvement is expected. She'll feature in the finish. FIL (3) appeared to relish the heavy conditions at Wagga when he won first-up. Can't be discounted facing another bog track today.
SELECTIONS: Zumoradda gets the nod.
