Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sandown-Hillside, Warwick Farm, Eagle Farm and Belmont Park.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 3 @ 4:15 PM

POWERFUL EAGLE (7) won fresh up on the Pakenham Synthetic when last in work and then wasn't bad in two subsequent runs in tougher company before being put aside to mature. He has a good draw and should be suited by the Sandown-Hillside course with its long home straight. A two kilo claim will help and he will be hard to beat in a handy field. ICE PICK NICK (2) had some issues two starts back and was a month between runs when finishing third at Ballarat most recently. He will be a lot sharper today and is capable of taking this race out. RAKOMELO (6) has shifted to the Victorian arm of the James Cummings stable operation after two good efforts in NSW, including a fresh up win at Kembla Grange on a heavy track. He should be hard to place around these parts and is an each-way hope today. MADAME DU GAST (5) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Powerful Eagle to win.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 3 @ 2:55 PM

GOLDEN QUEEN (9) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in four of five overall and has revved up for this with two strong trials. Hails from a red-hot barn and should be in this for a very long way while fresh. SURREAL LEO (7) is another resuming here but showed enough before the spell to warrant serious consideration in a race like this. Looks a genuine danger. BOYFRIEND (1) spent his entire first campaign racing at Group and Listed level and will find this assignment easier. Respect. SECRET REVOLUTION (6) has placed when first-up before and may earn some minor money.
SELECTIONS: Golden Queen to win.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 3 @ 1:38 PM

WISE LEGEND (8) hit the line strongly for third on debut and was then out bobbed late last time out finishing a nose back in second place. The step up to a mile today is the natural next step and with a nice swing in the draws here he is the one to beat. SIR CARTER (7) is racing well enough but has come up with another wide draw today. He has been looking for the mile and if the breaks come his way then he should be in the finish again. AMERICAN JAZZ (1) was running on stylishly fresh up and then ran out of room late in the straight, going to the line untested. He has been given plenty of time to get over that effort and with an increase in distance he could have the last say. GOLDEN HONOUR (3) has improved at each start since arriving at Chris Waller's Queensland stable. He gets the blinkers on for the first time and from the good draw is a solid first-four hope.
SELECTIONS: Wise Legend to win.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 6 @ 5:00 PM

BANDALERA MISS (3) fought on best to the line last start after sitting in behind the pace to score a victory over 2200m when well supported. Looks well placed here to repeat the dose. MAGIC WHISTLE (4) came from well back in the field to finish seventh over this course and distance last time out after drawing wide. Will drift back in the running but will be storming home late. Should be hard to beat. MAKTASTIC (8) raced up on the pace last time out and did well to hold second over 1800m at Ascot. Has good early speed so should be handy in the run home. Has each-way claims. LUKE'S PIERRO (7) had no early pace last start but once balanced up ran home well to finish sixth over 2200m. Has place claims and should be included in exotic bets.
SELECTIONS: Bandalera Miss to win.
