Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sale, Goulburn, Ipswich, Terang, Port Macquarie and Mt Gambier.

SALE: RACE 8 @ 5:35 PM

SQUAD (10) won as the favourite over 1000m last start and will strip a lot fitter today. Rates as the runner to beat. WINSUM (8) went an improving race to finish second last start when racing up on the speed over 1000m. Looks ready to score a victory and can't be left out of calculations. DOLLAR CHASER (4) came from fifth on the turn to win over 1000m last start when well supported in what was his first run back from a spell. Will strip a lot fitter today and has each-way claims. LLOYD'S CROWN (7) looks to have the ability.
SELECTIONS: Squad to win.

GOULBURN: RACE 2 @ 1:25 PM

Sydney trained FLYING DESTINY (1) peaks and go on the narrow defeat two-back at Hawkesbury. He will push forward and this is winnable back to country grade. SEANY'S GIRL (6) resumes and is also in good Sydney hands. Won the Maiden here and has missed a whisker at the provincials since. She's capable of using the rail and it's just a question of readiness. KARUTA KING (5) has switched to the local Matt Dale barn and has been freshened. His best is good enough and keep safe. ONE DESTINY (3) is back to country grade and is in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Flying Destiny.

IPSWICH: RACE 7 @ 4:06 PM

ZADIG (1) led here and was too good in better class. He spiked his figures despite pulling up with heat stress and the in-form 3kg claimer is aboard today. He can take the next step. SMOKEY DIAMOND (2) was narrowly beaten here behind Zadig and draws inside again. He's a chance. ALIRAAJ (8) resumed close-up in the same contest but has an awkward gate to contend with today. SPIRIT OF BEANS (4) resumed at Doomben is stronger and needed it. He won here his only second-up start and can make quick improvement.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Zadig.

TERANG: RACE 8 @ 5:10 PM

BIRTHDAY SUIT (6) has been given plenty of time to mature and peaked third up when a commanding 2.25 len victory over 1400m at this track on February 26. In similar grade today and should handle the 2kg weight rise from a better draw. Go close. SUPER STING (2) is holding his form well after racing out of his grade. Not far away when fourth over 1606m at Benalla on February 14. Has won this trip and close to his peak now. THE UNTACKLABULL (3) has figured in the minor money at three of his last four starts and looks to have genuine place prospects from the good gate. OUR AUGUST ROSE (4) resumed with a solid fifth over 1200m at Morphettville in BM60 class on February 25. Has solid second up stats and looks well in with the claim. Stas in the mix. SELECTIONS: Birthday Suit to win.

PORT MACQUARIE: RACE 5 @ 3:39 PM

TWIGMAN (4) was an eye-catching winner fresh at Grafton when rattling home from the tail of the field to get the verdict. Struggled to repeat last start here. Drawn to settle much closer to the action this time and gets the key booking of leading hoop Aaron Bullock. The one to beat. INTO THE OBLIVION (1) has chased solidly to the line in his last two. Is a track and trip winner and is drawn favourably. Can make his presence felt again. DONNACAN (8) rates well on best efforts and strikes a nice race to play a role. WAR MEMORIAL (3) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Backing Twigman to win.

MT GAMBIER: RACE 3 @ 2:50 PM

VAN SCOTIA (10) finished runner-up as a favourite at Ararat last time out and looks very well placed here. She will be peaking fourth up and is the one to beat. POORME ASHOT (7) is heading the right way and was only beaten less than a length after leading up here last start. She will be hard to peg back again. POCKET RAIDER (6) was beaten a nose at Balaklava last time out and has been progressing nicely this prep. Her maiden win isn't far away. WEEKEND WARRIOR (4) was a brave runner-up at Bordertown last start and he will be suited by the increase in distance here. The claim will help again and he won't be far away.
SELECTIONS: Van Scotia to win.
