WARWICK FARM September 28

RACE 1: Trainer Kerry Parker reported that Cuban Star had pulled up with some soreness to the hindquarter and pelvic regions, however had worked this morning and was showing signs of improvement. Parker was asked to furnish a vet clearance before Cuban Star’s next start.

ROSEHILL - September 27

RACE 8: Trainer Luke Price reported that Belle De Coeur had pulled up sore in front following the disappointing performance, and it was now his intention to send Belle De Coeur for a spell.

CANTERBURY – September 24

Race 1: Trainer John O'Shea stated that Segregation’s performance may have been partially attributed to being stirred up en route to the course. He undertook to trial Segregation at Randwick on October 3 prior to racing again.

Race 6: Trainer John O'Shea reported that Deliberate had pulled up well, however, he would now freshen the gelding up prior to its next start.

RANDWICK September 20

Race 5: When questioned why, in a slowly run race where there were no apparent leaders, he gave up the lead and allowed Junoob to cross his mount, Honorius, near the 1500m, Jeff Lloyd stated he was instructed by trainer David Payne to get cover on Honorius as he felt, as that is the gelding’s usual racing pattern, his mount would be able to finish off the race better, rather than having to lead.
