Two internationally-trained horses have had name changes as they prepare to make their Australian debuts during the Spring Racing Carnival.

Roger Varian’s Group 1-winning mare Ambivalent will race in Melbourne as My Ambivalent to avoid confusion with Ken Lanty’s last-start Newcastle Cup runner with the same name.
