Permission has been granted for Club Jockey Joao Moreira to be absent from Hong Kong in order to ride Hes Your Man in the Mackinnon Stakes (Group 1) and Brazen Beau in the Coolmore Stud Stakes (Group 1) to be conducted at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, 1 November 2014. Both horses are trained by Chris Waller.

Jockey Moreira has advised that he intends to depart Hong Kong on Friday, 31 October and return in time to fulfil race riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting on Sunday, 2 November 2014. As such, he will not miss a Hong Kong race meeting.’

Olivier Doleuze permitted to ride in the USA

Permission has been granted for Club Jockey Olivier Doleuze to be absent from Hong Kong in order to partner Rich Tapestry, trained by Michael Chang, in the Breeders Cup Sprint (Group 1) to be conducted at Santa Anita Racecourse, USA on Saturday, 1 November 2014.

Jockey Doleuze has advised that he intends to depart Hong Kong on Friday, 31 October and return on Monday, 3 November 2014. As such, he will not be available to accept race riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting on Sunday, 2 November 2014.
