HAWKESBURY – November 6

RACE 3: Co-trainer Michael Hawkes advised that More Than Frank had pulled up well with no abnormalities.

RACE 7: Stable representative Brad Widdup was interviewed in respect to Emblems, which had pulled up with a cardiac arrhythmia subsequent to the race and, in addition, was distressed and displaying an excessively high heart rate. After taking evidence from Racing NSW Senior Official Veterinarian Dr C Suann, Widdup was advised that Emblems would be required to be subject to a detailed veterinary examination, including the results of an echocardiogram, an exercise stress test, monitoring the ECG and a post-test cardiac troponin, and that it must trial to the satisfaction of the stewards prior to its next race start. Widdup advised that the stable was now reviewing Emblem’s racing future.

When questioned regarding Heart Testa being ridden back in the field, Jason Collett stated that, when caught wide in the early stages and when he perceived the pace to be genuine, he elected to restrain his mount and find a position closer to the rails and, consequently, settled further back than intended. Stable representative Liam Prior confirmed that the instructions had been to race in a forward position and indicated that it would be the intention to have the gelding ridden in a more forward position at its next race start.

RACE 8: Trainer Bjorn Baker advised that Twilight Meteor was suffering signs of colic post-race. Baker was advised that he would be required to furnish a veterinary clearance prior to Twilight Meteor racing again.

RANDWICK – November 4

RACE 2: Stable representative Liam Prior advised that Kiwi Kate had now left the stable.

RACE 8: Trainer Grant Allard reported that a full vet exam of Hulk Henry (including a scope and blood profile) had revealed no abnormalities and that the horse had pleased since. He added that he will continue with the gelding’s preparation and look to engage a senior rider at the horse’s next race start.

ROSEHILL - November 1

RACE 6: Trainer Danny Williams reported that Shout To The Top had pulled up well.

FLEMINGTON – November 4

Order of the Sun – Gai Waterhouse stable advised will be going out for a spell

Iconic – Tony McEvoy stable advised Iconic pulled up with jarring in right heel and will be sent for spell.
