CANTERBURY December 27

RACE 4: Proper Madam’s trainer Joe Pride reported a veterinary examination of the mare had not revealed any abnormalities and had pulled up well. Pride advised he would continue with the preparation of Proper Madam and will provide a veterinary clearance prior to the mare starting again.

RANDWICK December 26

RACE 4: Spinning Diamond’s trainer Sam Kavanagh reported a vet check, including an endoscopic examination, had revealed slight congestion in the gelding’s airways. Kavanagh said it was now his intention to freshen up Spinning Diamond prior to its next race start.

RACE 5: Faust’s trainer Kurt Goldman reported that the gelding had pulled up well and a veterinary inspection had revealed no abnormalities. He added that, in retrospect, Faust had not travelled up well to the meeting and this may have contributed to the gelding’s disappointing performance.

RACE 6: Gallatin’s stable representative Tom Ward reported the gelding had pulled up well, however, no immediate racing plans had been determined.

NEWCASTLE December 26

RACE 4: Proxy’s trainer Allan Denham advised that the gelding had pulled up well, however he would now remove the blinkers before its next race start.

RACE 5: Sunbury’s trainer Allan Denham advised that the colt will now be gelded.

WARWICK FARM December 24

RACE 5: Perplexity’s trainer Chris Waller advised that the gelding had pulled up well, however confirmed that it would now be spelled.

RACE 6: Princess Henrietta’s trainer Robert Pearse advised that the mare had now left his stable.

ROSEHILL December 20

Race 2: Kaepernick’s co-trainer Michael Hawkes reported the gelding had pulled up well and would proceed to race at the Magic Millions.
